Boreal assisted a waste treatment company in identifying alternate technologies for use in dewatering various liquid organic waste streams. The Company utilizes the organic solids from these wastes as a feedstock in a production process and, by removing water prior to treatment, they will be able to improve the performance of their system.
Boreal’s role in this project was to identify technologies and vendors capable of dewatering this waste, complete a full financial evaluation of each technologies (including capital and operational expenditures), and recommend a preferred solution. Field trials for the recommend systems will begin in late-2019.
